Since 2011, 2k games has released a new game every year without fail. This year sees an end to that consistent streak.
This has been confirmed by WWE CFO Frank Riddick who stated in an investor’s call that no videogame based on the brand will be released in 2020.
Last year’s release of WWE 2K20 was widely considered disastrous as there were numerous bugs and issues with the game. This could be the reason for the delay, although Riddick never gave a specific reason.
For now, we will have to dig out our previous WWE titles and replay those until we can get some sort of closure on this matter.
