December is steadily creeping up on us and with it the holiday season which means many get time off from their busy schedules and what better to fill this time than some free games from Xbox Game Pass.
December will bring us five new games from Game Pass with a few heavy hitters in the mix. Here is what we can expect: Iconic Warhammer action in Warhammer 40,000 Battlesector. For those die-hard Halo fans, there is some Halo Infinite coming your way.
Prefer to shred the powder then Shredders is for you bringing you serious snowboarding action. If instead, you prefer something more suspicious then Among Us is right down your alley. And finally indulge in some alien action in The Gunk.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector (Console, PC) (2nd of December):
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes, and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.
Halo Infinite (Console, PC, Cloud) (8th of December):
The next era of Halo begins! To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the franchise, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta is available now and free to play on Xbox and PC. Shredders (Console, PC, Cloud) (11th of December):
Break into the snowboarding event of the year to pull off one of the most insane tricks imaginable, all for the hope of scoring a wildcard entry to an exclusive invitational. To prove you’re up to the challenge, master the art of park riding, buttering, rails, and massive kickers and earn your place in the world of snowboarding.
Among Us (Console) (14th of December):
Play with 4-15 players online or via local WiFi as you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone! Originally created as a party game, we recommend playing with friends at a LAN party or online using voice chat. Enjoy cross-platform play between Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Coming soon to Xbox and PlayStation, which will also feature crossplay.
The Gunk (Console, PC, Cloud) (18th of December):
The Gunk is a story-driven action-adventure video game played from a third-person perspective. In the game, the player assumes control of Rani, a scavenger who has arrived on an alien planet with her partner Beck. The alien planet features various biomes such as canyons, jungles, and caves, but the terrains have been corrupted by a black slime-like parasite named the Gunk which is actively harming the environment and its wildlife.

What is Xbox Game Pass?
Xbox Game Pass is a game subscription service hosted by Microsoft. Being a valid subscription holder gives you access to a massive library of games. There are new games joining Xbox Game Pass regularly.
If the game supports it, you can play it on our Xbox One/ Xbox Series console, or Windows 10, last but not least, Android devices can also enjoy the supported games via xCloud.
Xbox Game Pass also gives subscription holders a number of other perks. There are numerous perks that subscription holders have access to, however, some are only available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
