As October steadily approaches the confirmed games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers have been released.

We have already covered these in our “Confirmed Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass For 2021 article”, but we will just recap in case you missed it.

This coming month Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to mixed genres among the five games on offer. These include turn-based strategy, coop fps, Base building, Zombie Coop, Action Roguelike, and multiplayer strategy.

Phoenix Point (Console) (ID@Xbox) (October 1:

a strategy video game featuring a turn-based tactics system and is set in 2047 on an Earth in the midst of an alien invasion, with Lovecraftian horrors on the verge of wiping out humanity. Players start the game in command of a lone base, Phoenix Point, and face a mix of strategic and tactical challenges as they try to save themselves and the rest of humankind from annihilation by the alien threat.

Back 4 Blood (Console, PC, Cloud) (12th of October):

Back 4 Blood is a thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise. You are at the center of a war against the Ridden. These once-human hosts of a deadly parasite have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization. With humanity’s extinction on the line, it’s up to you and your friends to take the fight to the enemy, eradicate the Ridden, and reclaim the world.

The Riftbreaker (Console, PC) (14th of October):

You play the role of captain Ashley S. Nowak – you are the Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful Mecha-Suit. Enter a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet at the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy, with the purpose of building up a base that will allow travel back to Earth and further colonization.

Ashley’s Mecha-suit, which she calls “Mr. Riggs”, can withstand the harshest environmental conditions and has a full range of equipment for base construction, resource extraction, gathering specimens, and of course – combat. It is capable of traveling through rifts that connect space across vast distances.

Into the Pit (Console, PC) (19th of October):

As members of a family of lore-hunting mystics, you and your cousin Luridia separately wander the land following rumors of occult power. After discovering a demonic pit in a nearby village, Luridia’s once prolific letters grow silent.

Something has gone terribly wrong.

Now it is up to you to journey to the desolate hamlet under dark eldritch skies. What did Luridia discover? And what great power has this village unearthed?

Age of Empires IV (PC, Cloud) (27th of October):

What is Xbox Game Pass?

Xbox Game Pass is a game subscription service hosted by Microsoft. Being a valid subscription holder gives you access to a massive library of games. There are new games joining Xbox Game Pass regularly.

If the game supports it, you can play it on our Xbox One/ Xbox Series console, or Windows 10, last but not least, Android devices can also enjoy the supported games via xCloud. 

Xbox Game Pass also gives subscription holders a number of other perks. There are numerous perks that subscription holders have access to, however, some are only available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
