As September draws to a close, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are eagerly anticipating what the new month has in store for them in terms of exciting games to dive into.

Let’s kick off the anticipation with a sneak peek at the initial eight-game titles set to be unleashed in the upcoming month.

Here are the games you can expect to play in October if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber:

Gotham Knights (3rd of October):

Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin – to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals.

From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations.

The Lamplighters League (3rd of October):

Recruit a team of misfits with unique abilities and unforgettable personalities, and chase the Banished Court to the ends of the earth in a mix of real-time infiltration, turn-based tactical combat, and a character-driven story of adventure and intrigue.

Warhammer 40.,000: Darktide (4th of October):

Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op-focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series. As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise.

Forza Motorsport (10th of October):

Race over 500 real-world cars including modern race cars and more than 100 cars new to Forza Motorsport. Make every lap count across 20 living tracks with fan-favorite locations and multiple track layouts to master, each featuring live on-track scoring, fully dynamic time-of-day with weather, and unique driving conditions where no two laps feel the same.

Cities: Skylines 2 (24th of October):

Raise a city from the ground up and transform it into a thriving metropolis with the most realistic city builder ever. Push your creativity and problem-solving to build on a scale you’ve never experienced. With deep simulation and a living economy, this is world-building without limits.

Mineko’s Night Market (26th of October):

Mineko’s Night Market is a narrative-driven, social simulation adventure game that celebrates Japanese culture and invites players to craft whimsical items, eat delicious snacks, and ultimately enjoy all the cats.

Headbangers Rhythm Royale (31st of October):

Headbangers is a light-hearted, Rhythm Battle Royale Game where you and 29 other Pigeons compete against each other, all to complete your quest of claiming the title of Master Headbanger!

Jusant (31st of October):

Enjoy meditative vibes in Jusant, an action-puzzle climbing game. Scale an immeasurably tall tower and ascend to new heights alongside your watery companion. Master your climbing tools, find your way up through diverse biomes, and piece together the tower’s past.

In addition to the exciting October lineup, the remainder of 2023 holds great promise with upcoming titles such as Football Manager 2024, Dungeons 4, and Persona 5 Tactica on the horizon. Furthermore, there’s a substantial collection of Activision games awaiting further details.

What is Xbox Game Pass?

Xbox Game Pass is a game subscription service hosted by Microsoft. Being a valid subscription holder gives you access to a massive library of games. There are new games joining Xbox Game Pass regularly.

If the game supports it, you can play it on our Xbox One/ Xbox Series console, or Windows 10, last but not least, Android devices can also enjoy the supported games via xCloud. 

Xbox Game Pass also gives subscription holders a number of other perks. There are numerous perks that subscription holders have access to, however, some are only available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
