Not much time left to get some hours into these titles…
Xbox Game Pass will begin in earnest in 2024. Xbox Game Pass has a large and constantly expanding library of games. Whether you’re playing on the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, or PC, there’s always something to play. The library, on the other hand, is about to get noticeably worse. It is losing some games on January 15, and while the number of games is small, the quality and weight of some of these games is significant.
There are a few titles leaving on January 15 that you should be aware of, none more so than GTA 5. GTA 5, the second best-selling game of all time with approximately 200 million copies sold, hasn’t been as relevant in years as it is now, owing to the reveal of GTA 6. This isn’t to say there was ever a time when it wasn’t relevant, since thanks to GTA Online, there was never a time when it wasn’t. It has been extremely popular for over a decade. That being said, with GTA 6 on the horizon, now is an excellent time to play it, and Xbox Game Pass customers now have only 10 days to do so, at least for “free.”
This isn’t the only notable game to depart. GTA 5 has a Metacritic score of 97, making it one of the highest-rated games ever. Persona 4 Golden doesn’t have a perfect score, but it comes close with a 93 on Metacritic. It will also depart on January 15. Persona 3 Portable, which received an 89 on Metacritic, is also available. The less well-known Garden Story and MotoGP 22 round out the list.
As long as these games are still accessible through Xbox Game Pass, users can purchase them at a 20 percent discount. This discount will expire whenever each game leaves the subscription program.
Xbox Game Pass is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X at three different tiers.
