Here are the games that you’ll get if you are an Xbox Live Gold Subscriber.

October is here already and tis the season to be spooky. This month Xbox Games With Gold subscribers can look forward to four games coming to the service.

Aearo (1st of October):

Speed through stunning, stylized environments tracing ribbons of light, releasing the energy in the music. Battle strange enemies and fight epic boss battles all driven by an incredible licensed soundtrack. Independent micro-studio ‘Mad Fellows’ brings you a unique and innovative game featuring music from Noisia, Flux Pavilion, Katy B, The Prototypes, Neosignal, and many more. N.B. A controller with dual analogue sticks is required to play Aaero. (e.g. Xbox 360/One, PlayStation DualShock etc.)

Hover (16th of October):

Hover is a fast-paced single and multiplayer Parkour game in a futuristic 3D Open World. The game takes place in ECP17, a high-tech city also called Hover City by its inhabitants and located on a distant planet. The Great Admin cut the communication with the Galactic Union and established a strong dictatorship. Having fun has become illegal and entertainment is banished.

You’re in charge of a team of young rebels, the Gamers, fighting against the new anti-leisure laws oppressing the city. Equipped with high-tech gears allowing amazing jumps and speed, they roam the city to sabotage the propaganda, help citizens, and find a way to reach the Orbital Station.

Castlevania: Harmony Of Despair (1st of October):

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (a play on “HD”) is a multiplayer Xbox Live Arcade and PS3 PlayStation Network game featuring characters, sprites, and locations from several different Castlevania titles. There is up to six-players online cooperative play, and while it is beneficial to stick together, as characters can perform powerful combo attacks, players have the ability to wander the castle freely, regardless of the location of the other players.

There is no local co-op for the 360 version, but the PS3 version does have four-players local co-op. Downloadable content include new characters and stages.

Resident Evil-Code: Veronica (16th of October):

The story takes place three months after the events of Resident Evil 2 (1998) and the concurrent destruction of Raccoon City as seen in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999). It follows Claire Redfield and her brother Chris Redfield in their efforts to survive a viral outbreak at both a remote prison island in the Southern Ocean and a research facility in Antarctica.

The game retains the traditional survival horror controls and gameplay seen in previous series installments; however, unlike the pre-rendered backgrounds of previous games, Code: Veronica utilizes real-time 3D environments and dynamic camera movement.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen, your lineup for the month. It is never too late to sign up for Games with Gold if you aren’t a subscriber yet.
