When it came to new games, 2023 was the first successful year for Xbox Game Studios this decade. This year, we saw Hi-Fi Rush, Starfield, and Forza Motorsport lead the way for Xbox, and it appears that Xbox players can expect many new games for the next decade or more.
Shpeshal Nick of the Xbox Era Podcast, known for his insider knowledge, shares that Xbox’s Roadmap is full for the next 15 years. Typically, roadmaps are planned 5-10 years in advance, but not for Xbox. This is most likely due to the fact that they now own many studios as a result of the Activision Blizzard acquisition, and they still have Bethesda, which consistently releases games.
