Aesthetics:
Round and sleek and curves in all the right places. I personally love the look of this camera as it reminds me of an old-school video camera making it instantly recognizable as a camera. The lines on this camera are very aesthetically pleasing and the camera itself is silver with matt black trim.
The stand is highly flexible which means it can be placed at almost any angle. Her size is just right also not too big and clunky and not too small to be a great camera. She will add style and class to your setup, whether you use her on your laptop or PC or even on your desk facing up towards you she is beautiful at any angle.
Performance and quality of video:
The wide-angle lens and the manual focus are awesome for streaming and making YouTube videos as the camera isn’t struggling to auto-focus all the time. The video quality is smooth well-lit, clear, and is free from distortions. The sound quality is excellent, with each sound immediately recognizable and voices that are audible and clear.
high resolutions, quick frame rates, and top-notch still shooting are what you will get with this camera. The still image resolution is impressive utilizing 12 megapixels.
Autofocus is not available on the Ausdom AW615 camera. Instead, it comes with an F2.0 lens with a 3.6mm focal length. The f-stop value, in this case, F2.0, indicates how much light is exposed to the film, whereas the focal length indicates how much light is converged or dispersed by the camera.
These specifications are the same as a typical CCTV camera, with a 65-degree viewing angle and a focus that is well-suited to the close-up things that a webcam would be capturing.
User Friendly & Functionality:
To install the camera you simply plug and play. It has a USB connection so simply pop the connection into one of the ports in your Desktop or Laptop to start enjoying this awesome little camera. It can be used with its own software and other software as well.
I personally use the OBS software as it has many more options than the camera’s own software and works really well with the Ausdom AW615 1080p. The Ausdom AW615 1080P will work with many mainstream calling apps such as Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Facebook Messenger, and even Whatsapp calls can be made with this nifty device.
The camera has a noise reduction feature which helps filter out distracting background noises like a fan or air conditioner running in the background. You can point the webcam exactly where you need it with basic tilt and pan functionality.
One thing to keep in mind is that the webcam’s power cable is integrated into the camera, so if it breaks, the camera will be unusable. This means you’ll have to be extra careful with the cord while adjusting the camera or removing it and replacing it frequently.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
This camera is outstanding for its price range and is very much worth the purchase if you desire a great-looking camera with a fantastic video quality and clear audible sound. The camera and its stand are made of great quality materials which will ensure that your camera will be with you for the long haul.
The Ausdom AW615 is a capable and attractive webcam. Despite the lack of digital zoom and other features, it outperforms most other webcams in its range, in terms of performance and quality. This really is a great little Webcam.
The price ain’t bad either making this camera a worthwhile purchase. If this camera is your first Webcam or even your twentieth you are in for a treat, as the pros outweigh the cons in any universe.
