The Remastered version of Bioshock is a welcome sight. This was an incredible game back in the day and now we can experience it all over again with current gen technologies. With the new and improved visuals comes a whole variety of additional extras to further enhance the legendary Bioshock experience.
The entire visuals and graphical aspects of the game got a decent facelift. We now have high resolution textures, along with models and the interface itself. Everything looks more detailed now with better sampling g and rendering. The original Bioshock did not look bad at all, however, compared to today’s technology it did fall behind some. But that is the entire reason for the Remastered version. Taking that great game and memorable experience and offering it to you in an all new version with new and improved visuals.
This is does quite beautifully. Rapture never looked as good as it does now. To further enhance your Remastered experience, the developers graced us with some brand new content as well.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
The original totally blew me away back when it first came out, and things only got better as the sequels came out. Now we get to experience the start of this amazing serious all over again in new and improved visuals. The experience is just as memorable as it was before.
Whether you are a veteran Bioshock player, or new to the series this version will not let you down. You will walk away with the same great memories the original offered you back then. The extra content really ups the value here. The Museum is by far one of the grandest add ons, giving you a very intuitive tour of what things looked like in the beginning. Then there is the Challenges which will really test your Bioshock skills, in new and unique challenges.
The High resolution upgrades really brought this game back to life in a grand and beautiful way. The Director’s Commentary is another new add on that will give you some person insight into the entirety of Bioshock.
All in all, a great addition to the series.
