Design:
It’s simply damn impressive! Ultrathin, with a tapered stand. You can easily adjust the height and tilt of the screen to suit your precise needs. It also has vents on the back designed for enhanced heat dispersal.
The monitor boasts a variety of other features that will not only enhance your experience but totally improve it. We have a flicker free experience here which reduces strain on the eyes especially for extended periods of use, so this is always a beneficial feature to have. With the screen that can be tiled it really allows for optimal user comfort whilst reducing eye fatigue. A winner for sure here.
Display & Performance:
The 1500R just wraps around making for one comfortable and gorgeous viewing experience. Not only is it accompanied by AMD Freesync Premium, but it also supports Nvidia G-Sync. The best of both worlds literally! Visuals will never be left behind with powerful support like this.
It brings distortions to a minimum, screen tearing is almost non-existent; the same goes for stuttering, which means we have a smoother, and more fluid gameplay experience. All in all, this gives us exceptional image quality and that is what we want in a monitor.
The response time is very decent as well which enhances performance drastically during high-speed actions. Coupled with a 144Hz refresh rate, we have it all; The means to witness fast-moving visuals with incredible clarity allowing you to react faster… Told you it will improve your experience!
User Friendly & Functionality:
Pretty much plug-and-play… Stare at her whilst unboxing and unwrapping her… From there it’s a matter of connecting the stand to the screen by plugging one into the other.
Once assembly is completed you give life to her by connecting her to your screen and power. Behind the monitor, you have 5 buttons that are used for quick navigation and screen settings. You can also self-assign shortcuts to these keys. This way it allows you to quickly swap between settings with the push of a button as you need it!
The monitor features a headphone jack, two HDMI ports, Display port 1,2, and then a Security Lock slot. She really has it all!
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
The only thing that could make this screen better is if it had built-in speakers or a USB port or two/ However, given the capabilities that she has and offers, she more than makes up for that. The one thing that bugs me is that the MPRT dims the display so you end up not using it.
Incredible image quality with both AMD and Nvidia support, this in itself is pretty darn amazing. It has all the features that we need a 144Hz screen to have. She is a tad pricey for what she offers, especially when compared to top-tier panels in her category.
If you are on a tight budget then this is the perfect fit for you. It will give you excellent performance and a fantastic gaming experience whilst enhancing every aspect of your game. Sure, you can get better, but at much higher prices too. This one though will give you everything you need to get started at one great price.
