A very grand tale awaits…., full of dark humour and plenty references from a variety of other fantasies.
Some key points that this game offers:
- Dungeon Management.
- Real Time Strategy
- Grand Story line.
- Multiplayer.

Gameplay & Controls:
The game can be played completely with the mouse if you prefer, or you can use both the mouse and keyboard; either way is fine and very comfortable here. The game does support game controllers to some extent for those that prefer controller.
The gameplay changed quite a lot from previous titles, and in all the right ways. The game offers two variants of gameplay at any given time. While you are in your Dungeon it is all about dungeon management and when you send your troops to the Overworld you have a full RTS (Real Time Strategy) experience.

Dungeon management has been taken to an entirely new level; instead of catering to Hero’s this time, it is all about killing them from the moment they venture into your dungeon. This can be done with a variety of traps and other nifty gadgets that can be built in hallways to deter them. If that fails you can send forth your minions to pounce on them. As you go about building up your Dungeons riches and power you can send forth some troops to venture into the Overworld; this time is isn’t just about fending off invaders you get to be an invader yourself taking the fight right to the enemy.

Graphics:
The visuals and graphics have received a very decent improvement from previous versions as well. Character models are cleared with a lot more detail to them. The game shadows have also received an upgrade along with the lighting. Everything this time looks more vibrant and welcoming, the dark theme that the game casts is just a black cherry on top.
There are several settings that you can make use of to further customize your game.

Sounds:
Simply a joyride… The narrator does a marvelous job of keeping you entertained completely. The Comedic dark humour really sets the tone for the game; It enhances it and makes it so much more fun. The voice acting was done beautifully and incorporated just as beautifully.

The in-game sounds and soundtrack have been implemented just as well to bring us a masterpiece.
Replayability:
This game is so fun that you will gladly replay it over and over; there are numerous maps that can be played solo or online with friends.
All in all, Dungeons 2 will keep you busy for a while.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Spoilers ahead:
Realmforge Studios did an amazing thing with Dungeons 2; for many of us this is a game type we have been waiting for for a long time. It fills the hole beautifully. We have a very enjoyable campaign with a captivating story line to enjoy.

The game mode that we get to play this time around was a great surprise at first; but a totally awesome one. We get to build the dungeon of our dreams; massive in scale and crawling with our minions, carving it out or merely patrolling the hallways for things to bash.
There are numerous in game minions to make use of; and this in two different armies; The Horde and then The Demons. There are several buildings that can be build. Everything has a purpose… serving the Ultimate Evil in his conquest. Brew beer for your minions to gorge on, Forges so that weapons and armour can be upgraded and so much more.

Dungeons 2 will blow you away.
