F.E.A.R. Extraction Point Review

The Fight is far from Over!

Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game

Some key points that this game add on has to offer:

  1. Continuation of the original story line
  2. New Levels
  3. New weapons
  4. New Enemies
Start
There is no way this is going to end well!

Replayability:

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point shares the same replay value as the Base game; there are several difficulties to try out. This content expands the Singleplayer campaign.

Alma
Guess who’s back?

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point takes place directly after the massive explosion you witnessed from the Helicopter in the Epilogue of the original F.E.A.R., as you recall, just before the screen went black Alma decided to join the Helicopter ride. In Extraction Point that very Helicopter crashes into the burning city and that is where you journey starts.

Boss
Boss fight for sure!

There is an extraction point set up, and your mission is to reach it. You will go up against Replica soldiers once more, still hell bent on killing you. This time around there are some new enemy variants added into the mix.  All is not lost though; some new weapons have been added to the game to help you reach the extraction point. There is a minigun, laser weapon and a deployable turret, enough fire power to help you stay on top!

There are new locations that you will explore, the gun fights are still EPIC, and somewhat deadlier than before, so prepare yourselves adequately! A few other notables are that you can use melee to bash open doors and certain supply crates. The hallucination scenes are more graphic this time in nature and more frequent.

Fight
Fights are never too far off!

Alma does not plan on letting you go so soon!
All in all a grand expansion!
