Once more onto the breach!
Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game
Some key points that this game add on has to offer:
- Alternative story line
- New Enemies
- New weapons
- Updated multiplayer
- Bonus Missions

Replayability:
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is a standalone expansion pack; It shares the same replay value as F.E.A.R., furthermore, the multiplayer has also been updated.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate gives you the opportunity to experience the events of what happened in F.E.A.R. from a different F.E.A.R. teams perspective. Whereas the original team had to evaluate what exactly the threat was, and then eliminate it at any cost.

With ATC turning against F.E.A.R. and Delta Force, and then murdering Aldus Bishop things spun out of control very fast. It is here that Commissioner Rowdy Betters authorizes a second F.E.A.R. team to be deployed via airdrop. You are part of this second team and your mission is to investigate and gather information on what ATC is involved in.
You will be going up against the ATC soldiers, Replica forces; There is a new mercenary team in play, and last but not least; a massive paranormal occurrence that will try and destroy you the moment they catch onto your scent.

This Mandate will take you to a variety of new locations, going up against some serious enemy’s hell bent on murdering you. Alma is always around the corner just waiting to scare the crap out of you!
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate isn’t a bad game at all, it is fun and quite enjoyable; however, if you look at it, at what it represents, you can’t help but feel like there is no point to this exact release. It doesn’t really offer anything new to the game. It is a standalone game that doesn’t continue or expand the original story line whatsoever. There has been no updates or improvements to the game itself. It would have made sense that some visual improvements would have been implemented.

To keep it simple, F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is a fun game, the updated multiplayer adds some new kick to the game; so, whether you play singleplayer or multiplayer you will get your monies worth. The game as a game in the series just doesn’t belong, it comes across as using the F.E.A.R. lore to milk some extra money.
