A short but sweet story to maturity, love and happiness.
Some key points that this game offers:
- Beautiful visuals.
- A book that has come alive.
- Moving characters, unlike the backgrounds the characters aren’t static.
Gameplay & Controls:
Controls are simple when it comes to visual novels, you can either set the game to auto play the script as it plays out or you can click the script to move forward. The mouse wheel can be used to go back to previous scripts in a scene by scrolling up and scrolling down moving the script forward. The gameplay is just as simple you sit back and enjoy a beautiful story in visual art form

Graphics:
Again, A work of art, careful and very detailed effort has been invested into creating a stunning and quite realistic set of background images for each scene, really bringing them to life. The characters have minor movement, so they are no longer static images that just move when the scene moves, they all have their own mini movements to separate them from the static backgrounds, again very detailed effort went into making them look absolutely stunning, really giving us a pleasant scene to work with.

On the options menu we can choose our resolution size along with window mode or full screen. We also have options to set the script typing, how many and how fast the characters appear.
Sounds:
Incredible soundtrack, enhancing the game’s experience and story tenfold, you get lost in this beautifully crafted work of art. There is music to accompany every scene, enhancing it and making it so much more appealing, really adding and complimenting the game, that’s not all, certain scenes such as the rain have unique sounds to mimic the rain bringing it to life like never before.

Replayability:
Unfortunately this is where the game falls short, a visual novel rarely has replay value unless you want to experience the story again, which tends to happen with any good book, but in a few months interval, Fox Hime doesn’t offer any choices that give you different gallery pictures or unique scenes, so unfortunately it doesn’t really have that option in this regard.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
Spoilers Ahead:
Because of the nature of the game I will refrain from mentioning story information to avoid spoiling the plot. The biggest issue with this game that you will face is that it’s short. The developers really created a beautiful piece of work here, they truly outdid themselves, and they gave us a powerful story of companionship.

With that companionship comes elements we all have to and had to face as young adults, the game offers a powerful message in a way helping you view choices you had to make yourself at some point, so you get to see them from a different perspective, and that is where my only issue comes in, the game doesn’t feel rushed or incomplete, the developers just didn’t make it long enough, they had a great idea with what they made here, I just personally think the message would have been more powerful and the experience so much more if they added more to it, and by more I mean more scenes that show growth towards the characters.
The game has a Sexual Content rating, now depending on which country you hail from it might not have the same rating for you. I can only assume that the game is tagged as such by steam to ensure that it covers the minimum law requirement as to avoid any law breaking, the game however has no actual nudity , and there is a scene or two that has one of the characters underwear pieces exposed such as her panty, but that is it as far as nudity goes.

The sexual content refers to the script itself, but there is no real or in depth conversations regarding sex, brief mentioning of a specific topic and that is it, however do keep viewer discretion in mind.
