“Oh, I know what the ladies like.”
What’s in the box:
- 1x Funko Pop! Halo SGT Johnson figurine
Aesthetics:
SGT Major Avery Junior Johnson is an officer and a gentleman. He is a highly qualified marine in the Halo games, and Funko has perfectly captured this image.
The details they have captured here vary from the creases and insignia on his hat to his uniform and body armour which screams professionalism and military precision.
Even his combat boots and his weapon show the amazing detail that we have become accustomed to with Funko products.
His hair was painted in such a way that it blends in perfectly, and while we’re on the subject of hair, they also managed to capture his moustache, which adds to his character.
Functionality:
In or out of his box, SGT Major Johnson will serve his purpose with honour and dignity. Whether you a hardcore collector and prefer him to stay safe and sound mint inbox or you prefer to display him he will oblige you either way.
This Funko does not come with a clear round stand to help him stand, but it is not necessary. He stands very stable on his own, albeit not incredibly stable because his head is oversized and he will be top heavy.
His head is movable and can spin 360 degrees which makes for more options when posing him for display. Other than his head though there are no other movable parts on this Funko figurine and therefore will add to his longevity.
Being a genuine Funko he is made from a very durable vinyl and will guard you for many years to come if he is cared for properly.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
SGT Major Johnson is a really well made good looking Figurine and will be an asset to your collection whether it be a Gaming collection, a Halo collection, or even just a Funko collection.
In this particular collection, there are four Funko figurines namely: Master Chief with Cortana, SGT Johnson, Buck (ODST), and Arbiter.
A worthwhile purchase and I personally found no issues or faults in this figurine other than a little glue stain on his hat but other than that this really is a great little Funko.
