Aesthetics:
Big, bright and oh so Trolly. Branch is Poppy’s boyfriend and the male protagonist of the Trolls franchise.
This Limited Edition Chase troll doll has a lot of personality, and his hair is so big that it makes him stand out. He’s a stylized version of his funky self, and Funko did an excellent job of capturing his style and wit.
In terms of aesthetics, he has his signature waistcoat and leafy shorts, which were beautifully captured, as well as his giant blue hair, which Funko has made even more massive this time around. He is so darn cute and they even found a way to capture his sassy expression by making it so that his eyelids are half closed. This specific edition is a limited Chase Edition so there weren’t too many of these manufactured which makes him even more special and unique.
Functionality:
Mint in box or displayed to show him off in all his colourful glory, it’s entirely your choice how he will exude his Trollness. If you are a hardcore collector then mint in box will most probably be your choice, even so, he will radiate his personality right through that box.
If you are more of a display collector then he will serve this purpose well too. He comes with a clear round stand like a lot of Funkos do just to add that little extra boost of stability.
This particular Branch will unfortunately not be able to stand on his own as the design of his feet make him topple over so the little round stand is a necessity.
This Funko’s head spins easily around in 360 degrees to make posing him that much easier as you will have many more options.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
An awesome Funko to have in your collection no matter the collection…whether it be a Funko collection, a Trolls collection, movie memorabilia, or just because Branch is awesome he will serve each purpose well.
This Funko is stable when put on his stand and because he is a genuine Funko he is manufactured with a very strong and durable vinyl material that will last you as long as you look after him, you could get many moons of cuteness out of him.
In case you were wondering what a “Chase” Funko Pop! is “A funko Pop Chase is a rarer version of a pop that is usually packed in a ratio of 1/6 or more, meaning that for every 6 of a pop produced, they will make one “chase version” of the same pop.”
My conclusion is that this Funko is a worthwhile purchase for anyone who wants to add fun and sass to their lives. I found no immediate issues with this limited Edition Funko and feel he would make a great addition to your collection.
