Design:
Sleek and sexy are the words that come to mind when describing this monitor basically borderless and slimline in a sexy black shell with a few red accents just to make her pop that bit more.
The side and top borders are extremely thin and slimline with the bottom border being a bit thicker and has the LG logo on it. The red circular design on the back of the monitor adds a futuristic element to the screen.
The stand has a strong cylindrical stand with a V design on the base for stability. The stand is able to move up and down to adjust the height as needed. It has a metal piece on the cylindrical stand for easy cable management and is handy if you need your cables to be neat and tidy.
The monitor is made up of a mix of metal glass and polycarbonate which was designed to look sleek and futuristic.
If you want to mount the monitor, it has this option and it will be stable enough that it will not fall.
Display & Performance:
The screen has the ability to tilt to a vertical position which is extremely useful if you are editing videos or streaming and so easy to use.
The refresh rate on this monitor is 144hz which is a lot better than many monitors out there. This monitor has FreeSync and Nvidia G-sync compatibility which reduces stuttering and tearing which is useful if you are playing a game with high FPS to ensure smoother gameplay and no “joltiness”.
This monitor also includes a “black stabilizer” which improves dark colours and textures in-game for a richer crisper picture.
There is also a crosshair feature that improves your aim if you are playing any type of run and gun or shooter type game.
The monitor works on an IPS panel type which helps with viewing angles whether it be for a movie, a game you are playing, or just general viewing.
One drawback is that this monitor has no built-in speakers so you will need your own speaker system to augment the sound here.
The HDR feature which is not available on all monitors helps to improve your game and ensures you can keep up with all the modern streaming services like Netflix etc.
User Friendly & Functionality:
The monitor does cap out at full HD which could be an issue for some but for this price you will battle to find anything better in its class.

This is a great monitor for an amazing price. It’s great for gaming, programming, streaming video editing, etc. The monitor has a super crisp image that is fully adjustable from the little toggle under the screen itself and for those that make videos this will be a perfect monitor for that.
It doesn’t have built-in speakers but for a gaming monitor, it is not really necessary as you will probably have your own additional speakers.
This monitor has blown us away with its clear crisp image the added features and the beautiful look and we highly recommend this monitor.
