Aesthetics:
She’s a real beauty… She is soft and silky smooth to the touch. The real beauty comes out once she is plugged in; then she brightens up your entire desk. Once the RGB comes on, things really lighten up.
The Neptune is a pretty amazing mouse pad for its price class. It does have limits where the RGB is concerned but she is a gorgeous add-on nonetheless.
Comfort:
As per custom, Redragon ensures that their Gaming Mouse Pads excel in their level of comfort. The bottom of the mouse pad is non-slip so once placed; it will remain firmly in place.
The size of the Mouse Pad ensures that you can easily place your Keyboard and Mouse with more than enough space left over to comfortably game. The silk surface is soft to the touch and quite pleasant to work and game on.
Durability:
Even though Redragon is seen as budget gaming gear, they provide us with high-quality components. The Neptune is made of silk-processed cloth. The non-slip rubber offers flexibility and stability.
User Friendly & Functionality:
Plug and Play… It is that simple and once done the Neptune comes to life in its brilliance of colour. You can change these colours with the button on the mouse pad’s connector.
The Neptune is remarkably easy to work with and to clean.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
It could have been more than what you bargained for. The Neptune’s price makes this a not-so-decent purchase. She offers you size, beauty, and comfort. Keeping her clean and in check is a no-brainer. The RGB is a very neat add-on to the Mouse Pad. You can enhance the colour scheme by either adding to the RGB options you already have or starting your RGB expansions with the Neptune.
However, due to the lack of software to properly sync the mouse pad, it limits the Neptune immensely. I have worked on much cheaper no name brand mouse pads that didn’t have the sync option either, however, they actually store your color settings, and whether you restart or have a power outage, it recalls your chosen color settings. The fact that the Neptune doesn’t makes it more expensive than it should be.
