Rise to Ruins Out Of early Access (OoEA) Review

This little masterpiece has finally come out of Early Access…and it is truly remarkable.

Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game

Some key points that this game has to offer in its final form:

  1. Non Stop Fun, the game never ends!
  2. A Variety of Game Modes
  3. Godlike village simulator
  4. DRM Free

Out of Early Access:

The game has been constantly updated and improved since it was in Early Access.  A bug or broken feature never stayed broken for long before it was patched. As the game grew in EA so did what it offered with additional game modes, buildings, and a variety of features that got added to the game the more time passed.

Bigger
Bigger is always better…

The game is more polished and smoother than what it was when I played it back in its EA days. The game is also a lot more stable too, especially when you are dozens of days into a game with a massive empire and hundreds of villagers running about. The game handles the size and complexity of your game very well.

MGRza’s Conclusions:

There isn’t too much to say, unfortunately. This game has been great since its EA days and it only got better and better. The developer said it back then and he is still keeping to it today. Free DLC’s and DRM Free. It still holds up.

The
The start of a new Empire!

For those that are not aware of what this marvel has to offer, please read my original Review, link can be found below and it gives a proper breakdown of what the game is about and what it has to offer.

The improved handling is a game changer here, I played this back then on a not so great laptop and I recall being just under 100 days in on my one world. It was massive with nearly a thousand villagers. Garbage everywhere, and buildings as far the map scrolled. It took a toll on my laptop. I started a new world, played it up again to just under 90 days this time, and I must say the game handles a lot smoother than it did before. There are additional game modes as well along with so many fixes and improvements.

Got
Got to love your neighbors…

Titles like these prove that it isn’t just AAA titles that can be great. If you have a good idea and invest enough time and patience to mould it into something beautiful that is what you will end up with. Rise to Ruin is one such masterpiece. It will keep you busy for months if you let it. That is how much this gem has to offer.
