Gameplay & Controls:
The game can be played on either keyboard and mouse or controller. The choice here comes down to your personal preference. It is a comfortable experience with either option here.
What we have here is mix between a Dungeon Crawler and a Visual Novel along with a few other mechanics that enhances the overall gameplay quality. We assume the role of a Fox Spirit, Yomi who has been sealed for decades and while sealed, her Dungeon was stolen from her along with her powers. It was by chance that an adventuring knight ventured into the Dungeon that woke you.
Weak and vulnerable you barely survive the fight against the knight with just enough power to cast an enhancement to bound her to your will. The two of you set out on reclaiming what is rightfully yours.
As you venture deeper into the Dungeon you will come across numerous treasures and other valuables including a whole variety of enemies; all of whom can be captured and persuaded to join your side.
Graphics:
Beautiful backdrops along with stunning cut scenes. Don’t forget all the eye candy that this game offers too. Originally this game was not intended for minors and even though there is no uncensored content present in the standard version of the game. The positions and placements of certain scenes leave very little to the imagination.
Under the settings we have quite a few settings to customize how the game runs on our systems.
Sounds:
The soundtrack enhances the exploration and makes it less dull; as fun as the game can be it does get a little taxing parading up and down each corridor. As usual though the music saves us from that and makes the journey a lot more durable here.
There aren’t many vocals here since it is more of a visual novel game but the game has numerous other sound effects that brings the game to life in its own way.
Replayability:
The game offers three difficulties; several collectables and a whole lot more for you to enjoy so just completing it the first time around will keep you quite busy.

Sakura Dungeon brings together some of the best elements from multiple genres. The first-person view gameplay is unique here since we have a Dungeon Crawler, that coupled with the visual novel makes every turn a memorable experience.
The visuals in the game are absolutely gorgeous and that is putting it mildly. The colours are bright and very welcoming. Each scene has been beautifully created for us to enjoy the view. The game offers us a very unique story line and so many side stories that unfolds as the progresses.
All and all, a very decent experience can be had here.
