Replayability:
This Tomb can be completed within the main story campaign. However, we can also replay them in “Challenge Tombs”.
Just like the original tombs, this tomb can be replayed in all three of the game modes that is available. Score Attack, Time Attack and Exploration.
MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
The last one is finally here, and one might say it continues the end that the game delivers. The dust has settled and a hard victory has been won. However, it seems that the Yaaxil have gone missing. It is here where you will venture forth into a new cavern system in search of clues.
This new Tomb will share some more incredible details surrounding the Maya culture with you, and eventually lead you to the truth of what happened to the Yaaxil.
A new skill Magic Touch can be obtained here. It enables Lara to use fewer resources when crafting on the go. The Midnight Sentinel outfit is another reward here, which increases the duration of your focus and perception abilities. The Silver Strike bow is your new weapon, it allows your arrows to not only penetrate body armor, but also pierce multiple unarmoured enemies.
If you own the Season Pass then this DLC is available to you for free, however it can be bought separately as well.
This is another small expansions, something we have been accustomed to by now. The best value for money would be to buy the Season Pass, or one of the special Editions that contain all the extras. The story that it offers is rather unique and a fitting add on to the end that we enjoyed. The dark atmosphere surrounding the tomb was done beautifully upping the creep factor for sure whilst adding beauty to your surroundings.
