MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:

The Pillar, the next DLC Tomb is finally here and oh boy is it a stunner! Incredible detail, fantastic level design and a whole new treacherous journey awaits you! Venture forth to discover the truth behind the Maya apocalypse.

It
It looks a bit windy…

Once you have accepted the side quest to retrieve the Age Makers Shield, you will venture forth and enter this new Tomb. It is quite sizeable and filled to the brim with a unique stormy dark atmosphere that paints the picture perfectly! The Tomb will require clever manoeuvring to make it across all the gaps and wide open spaces, and to make things deadlier, you will have to navigate deadly crossings as the wind tries to blow you away.

During your exploration of the tomb, you will gain a new skill, A Thousand Eyes, which allows your survival instincts to remain active whilst moving through tree canopies and concealment walls. A deadly ability for the stealth player. Once you have retrieved the Shield and returned it you will be rewarded with a brand new bow and outfit, The Tunic of the Shorn One outfit reduces damage from projectile weapons and allows you to craft additional ammo. The Oathtaker’s bow deals greater damage to armoured enemies. A deadly upgrade to your arsenal.

Nice
Nice Suit!

If you own the Season Pass then this DLC is available to you for free, however it can be bought separately as well.

Even though the Tomb is sizeable, it offers about an hour’s worth of gameplay. The few puzzles that it offers aren’t too difficult to solve either, and the overall difficulty of the tomb is rather medium. However, it is a fun experience nonetheless.

MGR Gaming Score 6
