There is only war, so venture forth and lay siege to all who would oppose you!
Please note that this Review may contain spoilers from the Base game
Some key points that this game add on has to offer:
- Three player co-operative survival mode
- Six heroes to choose from
- Character customization
- Enemy waves
- Progression, Gain experience with every battle and level up each race’s chosen hero
- Does not require Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution to play
Replayability:
This content is a multiplayer mode only. It pits you and two others against waves of enemies.

MGR Gaming’s Conclusions:
The Last Standalone is the stand alone version of The Last Stand. It does not require Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution to play at all. There isn’t much difference between the two.
There is however one thing. Owners of the Standalone will receive a discount when purchasing Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution. For more details pertaining to The Last Stand, you are more than welcome to read the Review I did for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution – The Last Stand.

I will mention this again; if you wish to test your skill against increasingly difficult opponents with minimum support, then The Last Stand will test your mettle for sure! There is plenty fun to be had here, and the more you play the better it gets!
