The build is small and compact, perfect for laptops and notebooks. Besides the obvious 2.5: size factor, this Blue is lightweight and very easy on the eyes… It has that unique appeal to it due to its small size.
To date my WD drives have lived and performed for years after their supposed due dates. As always proof of the high quality components that goes into these drives.

Another unfortunate side effect that laptops tend to have is noisy. Given how compact they are and how close and personal you get with your laptop the sounds generated from it can be quite loud at times all things considered.

Offering silent but pure performance always goes hand in hand, and this is exactly what is offered here. The high cache limit is more than impressive, and makes those sweet transfer rates look even better.
An absolute perfect stand in when an SSD is not an option.
