Battlefield 2042 Breakdown

Battlefield-2042-Breakdown

Could we be looking at the best installment of the Battlefield series yet?

Set to release on the 19th of November 2021, Battlefield 2042 will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & Series X, and PC.
As the successor to Battlefield V, Battlefield 2042 is technically “Battlefield 6” but is the seventeenth entry into the series.

It will also be the first in the series to boast cross-play, although it will be solely multiplayer with no single-player campaign or battle royale mode.

As confirmed by EA, Battlefield 2042 will not be playable offline at all – “Battlefield 2042 is a multiplayer-only experience,” EA wrote. “So while you can play Solo against AI Soldiers if you’d like to practice, it will be in an online setting.”

In some seriously high anticipation of its release, fans will have the opportunity to get a taste of this beast of a game with the ten-hour trial for EA Play and Game Pass subscribers.

As a huge Battlefield fan that’s been playing through this series since Battlefield 1942 way back in the day, I can genuinely say that I am pretty hyped for this release and I’m seriously hoping that it lives up to the hype. Then again, DICE and the rest of the development clan haven’t let us down just yet.
