It’s time to say goodbye to these six titles…
Microsoft are generally quite generous and we’ve been given loads of great titles on Xbox Game Pass but at some point eventually, they do end up having to remove some games. Technically we can’t actually be up in arms about this because there’s nothing stipulating that it’s obligatory that they remain on Game Pass permanently.
All hope is not lost, however, kind of. Games that you’ve installed will continue to be playable but only once you’ve bought them.
As mentioned on the Microsoft Xbox FAQ site:
“Games you install using Xbox Game Pass remain playable once they’ve left the Game Pass catalogue only when you buy them—and you get a hefty discount when you buy games as an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
When you buy games at a discount, those games are yours to keep. Similarly, any add-ons you buy are yours to keep, whether you buy the base game or not.
Either way, whenever you sign in to the Xbox network, your game data gets saved online. That means, whenever you next play the game—if you buy it, if you play it at someone else’s house, or if it comes back to Game Pass—you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off.”
These titles will be removed on the 15th of November 2021:
