We wanted to know more about him and caught up with him recently for an interview, this is how it went down….

Who is DaddyCOolZA and what is your backstory?
“My name is Ruan `Daddy_COol` Kruger, I’m a software developer by trade and a content creator at heart. I love using my software skills to make my and other people’s streams better or help make streaming more accessible. I love crazy socks and giving the best hugs you’ve had since that one time your parents were proud of you.
I own the most colourful/violent/scuffed corner on Twitch. I’m an ex Call of Duty pro who just loves FPS, though my old age is showing nowadays. I’m the creator of software and a streaming device called The Stream Assistant, that helps streamers stream their best, and that’s probably my pride and joy.”
What is your role in the gaming and streaming community?
“I would like to consider my role as the technological standard setter. I’m always discussing how people can improve their content with free software or using unexpected everyday objects. For a time I did stream reviews and gave a lot of ideas to various people.

What is your favourite genre of game?
“FPS and MOBAs, though I do enjoy the occasional adventure game.”
What is your preferred gaming platform?
“PC Masterrace all the way! Though I know I am fortunate to be able to have a PC.”
What is your favourite thing about gaming?
“The way it can bring people together and allow you to meet different people from all walks of life. Gamers are usually a passionate bunch and I love how, for the most part, they’re extremely friendly and receiving.”
What are your current projects and what do you have planned for the future?
“Feels like a Stream Assistant ad at this point, but that is something I truly believe in. I also want to improve all the gizmos and gadgets in my stream and add more ridiculous ways for the chat to interact with me IRL. I hope to one day be able to work 4 day weeks and then have a day focussed on content creation, we can dream hey. “
