We are still at it and there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon…
For the past couple of months, we have slowly started upgrading our Discord Server. This is not new news anymore. What is new news, is that we have already added so much more to it and that we are bringing in even more.
We have added more Game Rooms (Categories) to our selection, boasting 40 Game Rooms Now.
We started adding dedicated News Sections to these Rooms. A dedicated News Section means, that whenever the official server for that game publishes or announces news relevant to the game or franchise, a copy of that news will appear here, making it easier for you to get hold of updates for your favourite games without needing to be in multiple places or servers.
We have added a Content Creators section, specifically for those that create and or enjoy watching created content. This is not limited to Streamers, any content that is relevant can be discussed and shared here. We are still tweaking these rooms to offer a more unique experience and service.
Unfortunately, though, we cannot set up Game Rooms for every game type, there are simply too many. To combat this, we have come up with a new idea. #genre watch. Another new addition we are busy implementing. Just like Game Rooms giving you access to a specific game or franchise. Genre Watch will give you access to a specific genre, which will house individual channels for the games that fall within these genres. This way any and all games can be discussed as needed.
We have also started with our ranking system, Those of you that are already in the server have noticed that you gain XP for your chatting. As XP is accumulated you reach new levels, and that’s where our ranking system comes in. There will be a rank for a certain amount of levels, and what makes this unique is that these ranks will have their own unique giveaways, competitions, and drop keys. As a means to reward those who stick around and interact. Discord will still have its giveaways that are open to all members, however, those that invest the extra time and effort to chat with us and their fellow gamers will have the opportunity to win themselves some exclusive prices.
There are some other features we are working on as well in the back end along with some other things that are sure to help you in your gaming endeavours. Be sure to be there when they go live.
The news is already floating around that we will be having some giveaways starting soon. Here is an inside tip. Discord will be having its own exclusive giveaways. Make sure to be in the server so you do not miss out.
