Capcom has set March 22, 2024, as the release date for Dragon’s Dogma II
Capcom has confirmed the Dragon’s Dogma II release date of March 22, 2024, as part of a new showcase livestream. Furthermore, we’ve learned that the game will cost R1 159.00 ($70), making it Capcom’s first of its kind.
Dragon’s Dogma II is expected to be released on March 22, 2024, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The launch date is listed on the game’s Steam page.
Capcom decided to update the game’s Steam page with the game’s apparent release date ahead of the Dragon’s Dogma II showcase later today. The showcase is a 15-minute livestream that includes gameplay and new game details. Yesterday, Hideaki Itsuno, the game’s director, confirmed that the release date would be revealed, presumably during the showcase rather than via a Steam listing update.
The release date for Dragon’s Dogma II was first leaked earlier this month via a PEGI rating that has since been removed. The ratings page, on the other hand, listed the same exact release date: March 22, 2024. The Steam page now appears to confirm the initial ratings leak.
Grand Theft Auto V was one of the influences on Dragon’s Dogma II, according to Itsuno, in order to give the game a “living world.” Dragon’s Dogma II was announced for the 10th anniversary of the first game in June 2022.
