Zombie apocalypse fans everywhere are anticipating the release of the second installment of Dying Light, dubbed Stay Human, Here is what we know so far.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is Techland’s newest installment and it is shaping up to be a huge deal after a few delays the game is set to come out on the 4th of February which is right around the corner.
The game was originally announced at E3 2018 and after 2019 details became scant, it was then delayed in January of 2020 and then eventually got a release date of late 2021 before being delayed again to February of this year.
Regarding the delay, Techland CEO said:
“It is by far the biggest and the most ambitious project we’ve ever done. Unfortunately, we’ve realized for us to bring the game to the level we envision, we need more time to polish and optimize it.”

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is set 20 years after the first game and stars a new protagonist named Aiden Caldwell who has mad parkour skills.
The players have the ability to jump off ledges, slide, and leap along walls navigating the city and avoiding flesh-crazed zombie hordes. This time around there are reportedly more than 3000 parkour animations which will give a more fluid experience.
The combat will be mostly melee-based with a limited lifespan and these weapons will degrade as the game progresses. There will be a few long-ranged weapons thrown in for good measure, such as crossbows, shotguns, and spears.

There will also be brand new zombies to square off with and as with the first game, they will be sluggish during daylight hours and faster and more active at night.
We also know now that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will take more than 500 hrs to complete which will give addicts of the game plenty of time to immerse themselves in the game world.
