Apex Legends has a new hero and he is an Aussie, has an epic moustache, and likes to blow things up.

Apex legends if you are not familiar is a free to play first-person hero shooter battle royale game that was released in 2019 without fuss and fanfare of any kind. The game has become extremely popular with the current season now nearing its end. The news is now in that there will be a new hero joining the legends in season 8.

The new hero that will be joining Apex Legends is Fuse, and according to the Apex Legends website, “Fuse doesn’t lack confidence, but he often lacks a plan. He’s a blow-up-first ask-questions-later kinda guy.”

Fuse will be the 16th Legend joining Apex Legends on the 2nd of February when the Eighth season called “Mayhem” is set to start.

This explosive new character surfaced from a new Stories from the Outlands video.

This video documents Fuse’s hectic life story from when he was a kid on planet Salvo with his friend to present day, where he is crowned as Bonecage champion, and the unfortunate event that led to the Aussie demolitions expert losing his right arm.

According to Polygon, Data miners have found intel that suggests Fuse will have a “tactical ability called Airburst Grenade, in which he can use a launcher on his mechanical right arm to fire a grenade and an ultimate ability known as The Motherlode, which allows him to use a cannon on his back to launch a missile that leaves flames in its wake.”

Apparently, Mayhem will change the game’s initial map’s look and feel for the third time, just when we were getting used to the last one, there will also be a new weapon brought to Apex in season 3. This weapon is a lever-action rifle they have dubbed the 30-30- Repeater, which will allow its user to kill enemies with high-impact bullets.
