God Of War Ragnarok will be the ninth installment in the series and the sequel to the 2018 God Of War. The game will loosely be based on Norse Mythology and will be set in ancient Scandinavia and feature Kratos and his teenage son Atreus.
This installment will serve s the finale to the Norse era of the series and will cover “Ragnarok” which is a series of events that bring about the end of days. The game will depict the deaths of a few of the Norse gods which were predicted in the previous game after Kratos killed the Aesir god Baldur.
Soon after its announcement the game already received accolades for “most wanted” and “most anticipated” games. The game’s original release was delayed due to Covid-19 and Kratos actor Christopher Judge’s Health Issues in August of 2019.
The game has previously had a delay, so while this is fantastic news for fans, many will also be skeptical. Only time will tell if the new release date is indeed realized, but you can be sure that we will be there to cover this headline story.
