His down-to-earth demeanour is inviting and it’s his engaging and inclusive vibe that makes you want to come back for more.
His experience is similar to that of many streamers in that Covid had an impact on his career and led him to a life of streaming, but despite the circumstances, he has embraced this role and has dreams of creating so much more content.
We were intrigued by this genuinely nice guy and wanted to know more so we approached him for an interview and this is what we found out.
First, the obligatory question to find out more about his personal journey to get here so we asked:
Who is Mad_Mazz and what is your backstory?
”I’m an aspiring entertainer. I’ve always enjoyed entertaining people, usually with a good laugh. I lost my job at the end of 2020 due to covid and decided it was time to chase a dream of making content for people to enjoy and forget about their troubles for a bit.”
What is your role in the gaming community?
“I really like to spread the word of the games I think are worth noting and want to spread the positive influence that gaming can have on someone.”
What is your favourite genre of game?
“Since I started gaming at age 7 I’ve always especially enjoyed my RPGs because of the incredible worlds you get to explore and the stories you get to experience.”
What is your preferred gaming platform?
“I’ve had and played on pc since I was 7 years old and has since then been my preferred platform.”
What is your favourite thing about gaming?
“What I love most about gaming is you get to experience things you couldn’t dream of experiencing in reality. Seeing these magical worlds and experiencing these incredible, intense stories and moments.”
What are your current projects and what do you have planned for the future?
“Currently I’m just streaming Grand Theft Auto Vice City Definitive edition and God Of War with the occasional multiplayer game with a friend. In the background, however, I’m teaching myself premiere pro so I’m able to edit videos and start doing a vast range of content on youtube, from gaming videos to skits and short films, and eventually starting my own production company.”
