You can now have your Epic Games library show up in GOG Galaxy and a few other features too.
When GOG Galaxy 2.0 launched its beta last year, its ultimate goal was to be able to show all your digital games under one roof.
Well GOG Galaxy 2.0 has now got official Epic Games Store integration. By using a plugin, you can have your Epic Games Library show in GOG Galaxy.
Epic Games Store is now the second non-GOG library to be supported in Galaxy 2.0 after Xbox Live integration.
If you wish to integrate other platforms such as Origin, PlayStation Network, Steam, and Uplay libraries, it is possible through unofficial community-created plugins.
In case you didn’t know GOG Galaxy 2.0 is an application, thanks to which you’ll be able to combine multiple libraries into one and connect with your friends across all gaming platforms, consoles included. If your games and gaming friends are scattered between different launchers and platforms, this is a solution for you!
Epic Games Store General Manager Steve Allison has said “We’re excited that Epic Games Store integration has come to GOG Galaxy 2.0. It’s an important step towards breaking down walls between PC stores, as it enables a unified experience for players to manage their PC games library independent of where their games were purchased.”
With this integration, users can manage all of their titles in one place, see their subscriptions and, launch or install titles. It will also be possible to see your play history, the leaderboards, and the overview of each game.
Apparently, they are hard at work adding new features for users such as the ability to see the online status of your friends across different gaming platforms and many more exciting features to come.
