GTA 6 represents a “new vision” for Rockstar Games and the series as a whole
The GTA 6 trailer debuted slightly ahead of schedule yesterday, December 4, thanks to a massive leak that revealed the trailer in its entirety. Rockstar simply decided to publish the entire thing right away, revealing a return to the sun-kissed shores of Vice City in the state of Leonida.
“Grand Theft Auto 6 continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences,” Rockstar Games co-founder Sam Houser said in a statement shortly after the trailer debuted yesterday.
“We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere,” the co-founder came to a conclusion. We’re not sure what this “new vision” means for a series that has been running for more than 20 years or a studio that has been around even longer, but we’ll take it as a positive sign for GTA 6.
Houser’s comment promotes GTA 6, even if it is mostly corporate speak. We’ll have to wait until 2025 to see what Houser means when he says GTA 6 will “push the limits of what’s possible” in immersive and open-world experiences.
