Helldivers 2 Is Seeking Additional Developers To Expand Its Scope

Helldivers 2 Players Triumph In Unleashing Mechs After Intense Campaign

Arrowhead Game Studios is ramping up its hiring efforts to leverage the success of the co-op game

CEO Johan Pilestedt has announced that the hiring process is set to begin, with the goal of assisting the team in “expediting and expanding content plans” for the shooter.

As tweeted by Pilestedt on February 13, job listings will be posted shortly, but Arrowhead welcomes senior developers to express their interest through an open form regardless. Currently, there are 10 positions available on Arrowhead’s website, including roles such as production director and programmer. Additionally, half of these positions offer a hybrid remote work model.

Pilestedt has been providing updates on the server issues affecting Helldivers 2, which have impacted both PC and PlayStation platforms since its launch. The most recent server maintenance introduced three “rapid-fixes” to address login problems, server capacity issues, and discrepancies in rewards distribution. “The total capacity of concurrent players was increased from 250,000 to 360,000,” Pilestedt shared in a Twitter update. “However, this proved insufficient as player count surpassed 360k within five and a half minutes.”

Despite ongoing server maintenance, the Helldivers 2 community continues to thrive, establishing an unofficial co-op etiquette. Despite the challenges, the game has surpassed one million copies sold. Arrowhead recently released a new patch aimed at improving general stability, addressing stuttering, and resolving matchmaking issues.
