Jurassic Park: Survival Has Been Announced

Jurassic-Park-Survival-Has-Been-Announced

Taking place the day after the events of the 1993 film

Gloomhaven developer Saber Interactive announced Jurassic Park: Survival will take players back to Isla Nublar at The Game Awards 2023. The first-person shooter appears to be based on the events of Steven Spielberg’s original film.

Though the trailer only shows a small amount of gameplay, Saber has made more information about the game available on the game’s website. Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist who worked at John Hammond’s original Jurassic Park, is a new character in Jurassic Park: Survival. The game takes place one day after the events of the 1993 film Jurassic Park, and thus features many of its locations and iconic dinosaurs.

Those dinosaurs are said to be reactive to your actions, so you’ll need to avoid them with distractions and stealth. It sounds a lot like Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation, in which players had to avoid, rather than fight, Ridley Scott’s 1979 film’s monstrous xenomorph.

While there are a few details available online, there is no set release date for Jurassic Park: Survival. We do know that it will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
