Konami has proved it is a company with many talent’s as it embarks on making a line of Gaming PC’s.

The name Konami has long been synonymous with many different roles in the gaming community, such as Video games, arcade, pachinko, and other amusement hardware. Some of the classics that they have developed over the years are Castlevania, Gradius, Metal Gear Solid, and Silent Hill.

The new PC gaming brand they have developed is called Arespear, which is taken from Greek mythology and is a combination of the words “Ares” and “Spear”. Their tagline for this new venture is “Advanced revolution of esports.”

There are currently three models of these Windows 10 PCs to choose from, the Arespear C700+ for 338,800 yen (R53 333,67), Arespear C700 for 316,800 yen (R 49 896,57), and the Arespear C300 for 184,800 yen (R29 105,57).

Below are each PCs specs:

The Arespear brand has also expanded to two new gaming keyboards the K100F AND K100L as well as the H100 headphones which will ensure you are fully kitted out with the Konami brand of peripherals.

The keyboards will be produced by Realforce and will use capacitive non-contact keys with adjustable actuation points. The H100 headsets include a handy volume control dial and are designed with comfort in mind for those extra long gaming sessions. The sound quality is second to none, being developed with the supervision of the “BEMANI Sound Team”.

Unfortunately, the reception hasn’t been great so far, with the case design getting a less than warm welcome, and even being labeled “garbage”, which is never good for business.

The PCs are only due to launch in Japan in December which means they won’t be an option if you are in the rest of the world, at least for now.
