Crystal Dynamics has finally revealed when the Beta’s will take place and much more.
Ever since we first heard of the Marvel Avengers being made into a game in 2019, Crystal Dynamics has promised a beta, and now without further ado, we will reveal what we know.
According to IGN the beta dates for Marvel’s Avengers are as follows:
- On the 7th of August, the PS4 preorder beta access will begin.
- On the 14th of August, the Xbox and PC preorder beta access will begin, as well as the PS open beta.
- On the 21st of August, the open beta across all the platforms will begin.
To help detail what players can expect out of the beta, Crystal Dynamics will be hosting a second War Table presentation on the 29th of July.
Creative Director Shaun Escayg says that players should expect a little bit of everything, including Campaign content, co-op missions, hero progression, and exploration in War Zone and Drop Zones. According to him the War Zone and Drop Zones exploration will be detailed in the War Table.
In Shaun Escayg’s statement he said:
“We built the beta in such a way that you can experience most of things that you’ll be doing in the full game .That means playing a piece of the original single-player Avengers story campaign, fighting through co-op missions, experiencing hero and world progression, and exploring War Zones and Drop Zones, a new kind of mission we’ll talk about in the upcoming War Table on July 29. This beta is meaty, but it’s only a small part of the finished game.”
It goes without saying that all the loot and gear you manage to rack up in the beta won’t be accompanying you to the full game, but that is a small price to pay to be able to play this Iconic game.
This highly anticipated game will be released on the 4th of September this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
If you own the game on the current-gen consoles you will be able to get it for free on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
