For the first time in its 25-year history QuakeCon Is fully accessible from the comfort of your home.
Bethesda’s yearly convention to celebrate and promote the games developed by its many studios was unfortunately canceled in March due to the Pandemic sweeping across the globe. This hasn’t stopped them though, they have regrouped and made a decision to go online with the event.
Bethesda has announced that QuakeCon at Home will happen from the 7th of August to the 9th and will take place completely online.

The event will kick off at 11 am CST on the 7th with the QuakeCon Digital Welcome Global Super Stream. The Stream will feature influencer streams, Bethesda community teams, and so much more that will be running around the clock, so there will be events for everyone to enjoy.
QuakeCon at Home will focus heavily on charity initiatives where players will be able to donate to all sorts of charity organizations such as Direct Relief, UNICEF, NAACP, Legal Defense Fund, and the Trevor Project.
You can also help the little doggos by purchasing the “Dogvahkiin” and “Catodemon” t-shirts, with all of the proceeds going to their long-time Dallas adoption partner, Dallas Pets Alive, and FOUR PAWS, a global animal welfare organization.

QuakeCon will close with the finals of the Quake Pro League 2019-2020 season, which will begin at 4 pm CST on the 9th, and there we will see 24 players from all around the world battling each other for their share of the $150,000 prize pool.
