An online Rumour has been found that suggests that Nintendo Switch Online might be adding to its library with Game Boy Advance games allegedly arriving as early as this week.
This rumour comes via ResetEra and was leaked on the Twitter page Gaming Leaks & Rumours.
This rumour apparently stated that an announcement is set to be released as soon as today the 2nd of December. The Gaming Leaks & Rumours Twitter Page reportedly states:

What exactly is Nintendo Switch Online? Well it is a suite of features on the Nintendo Switch Console via a subscription . Features include online multiplayer, cloud saving, voice chat, access to a library of Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) games, as well as other promotions and offers.
As it stands the service only offers SNES and NES games, which makes the Game boy or Nintendo 64 games the next logical step.
The Nintendo Switch would of course be a great fit for many of the Game Boy games, so it is only natural that fans will be waiting with bated breath to see if “the announcement” is made.
Of course, none of this information is official or set in stone, but the fact that it is dated so precisely gives us hope that the rumour is real.
Apparently, fans have been discussing a possible Nintendo Switch online expansion for a while now. If this rumour has any substance then it seems that the Japanese gaming giant might have sat up and taken notice of the fan’s requests.
This rumour has left us quite skeptical though as the leaker has no previous track record to speak of and so this rumour should be taken with a huge pinch of salt until he proves himself of course.
