Popular Game Faces Technical Glitches on Xbox; Patch Submitted for Certification
Palworld, the unexpected hit of 2024, has encountered technical issues on its Xbox version, prompting the developer to address player concerns. Despite selling 3 million copies within days of release, the game is grappling with black screens, login errors, and various other glitches affecting user experience.
Community manager Bucky communicated the situation on Palworld’s Discord, confirming the developer’s awareness of the issues. A patch has been submitted to Xbox to rectify reported problems. However, the release of the patch is contingent on passing Microsoft’s certification process, the duration of which remains uncertain.
Bucky stated, “Currently, we have submitted a patch for Xbox that addresses some of the issues that have been reported. However, the patch cannot be issued until it passes the Microsoft certification process. We haven’t received any word about the status of this yet, but we have been trying to get in touch so we can expedite the process. As soon as we know more, we will share it with you immediately. We’re sorry about this frustrating situation!”
Palworld enthusiasts are encouraged to stay updated through the game’s Discord for real-time information. The hope is that the certification process will be expedited, given the game’s popularity and its inclusion in Xbox Game Pass.
