This final bundle will be available next month
On December 5, Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, a collection that includes Phantom Liberty and every update, will be released.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which was announced earlier today, will be available early next month on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. It will include every update for the action RPG as well as Phantom Liberty to date, and it will be available both physically and digitally.
Big news… Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available digitally and physically on December 5th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC! In one package, enjoy the original Cyberpunk 2077 story as well as a new spy-thriller adventure in the Phantom Liberty expansion.
There does not appear to be an upgrade path for anyone who already owns Cyberpunk 2077 or Phantom Liberty. However, if you already own the base game and the expansion, you’re presumably getting everything the Ultimate Edition has to offer unless CD Projekt plans to include a surprise bonus that has yet to be announced.
However, Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is not included on the physical disc in the PS5 and PC editions. If you buy the Xbox Series X/S version, you won’t need to download the expansion, but if you buy the PS5 or PC version, you’ll have to install the spy-themed DLC from scratch, which is a shame.
To be clear, it’s on the Xbox disc. The PS5 comes with a code, and the PC version is also available for download. 21 November 2023 CD Projekt stated in September that it was finished with Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty and had begun work on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, also known as Project Orion. With the Ultimate Edition on the horizon, the message of being done with the game after three years of post-launch work appears to be more conclusive than ever.
