Here are the games that you can get for being a PS Now subscriber.
August has arrived and every month PlayStation gives us free games to stream on their gaming service PS Now. This month we have some real gems, adding three new titles for subscribers to sink their teeth into.
This month’s theme seems to be action as we have third-person assassin fun with Hitman 2. A bit of Open World RPG more your thing? Then maybe it’s time to try out Greedfall. Alternatively, you can try out the Roguelike, Metroidvania game Dead Cells.
Hitman 2:
Travel to exotic locations around the world and experience rich and detailed environments that are packed full of opportunities. From a high-powered car race in Miami to the hot streets of Mumbai and the dangerous Colombian rainforests, each HITMAN 2 location has been meticulously crafted with an extremely high level of fidelity.
You’re in full control and the world will react to whatever you do. Use stealth techniques, improvisation, and all your creativity to take down your targets in spectacular and ingenious ways utilizing an assortment of tools, weapons, and unexpected disguises.
GreedFall:
Explore uncharted new lands as you set foot on a remote island seeping with magic, and filled with riches, lost secrets, and fantastic creatures. Forge this new world’s destiny, as you befriend or betray companions and entire factions. With diplomacy, deception and force, become part of a living, evolving world – influence its course and shape your story.
Engage in a core roleplaying experience – achieve quests and complete objectives in a multitude of different ways – through combat, diplomacy, deception, or stealth. Complete freedom in character progression – play as a male or female, customize your appearance, and freely choose your abilities, spells, and skills.
Delve into a mysterious world of magic – begin a grand journey and uncover ancient secrets protected by supernatural beings, manifestations of the island’s earthly magic.
Dead Cells:
Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, Metroidvania inspired, action-platformer. You’ll explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle… assuming you’re able to fight your way past its keepers in 2D souls-lite combat. No checkpoints.
Kill, die, learn, repeat. Interconnected levels and progressive unlocking of access to the island provides you with a real incentive to explore your surroundings. Add in a degree of evolution for your character and permanent weapon upgrades and you can see where Dead Cells borrows from the long line of MetroidVanias that precede it.
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen! It is never too late to become a PS Now member, and as you can see, the benefits more than make it worth it!
