In the United States and Canada, the battle for supremacy on the PS5 saw Tekken 8 clinch the fourth spot, while perennial favorites Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Madden NFL secured the top three positions. Across the pond in Europe, Bandai Namco’s latest brawler secured a respectable fifth place, while GTA 5 maintained its stranglehold as the month’s best-selling title.
Amidst the lineup of January releases, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth emerged as a notable contender. However, its debut on the US and Canadian PS5 download charts at 14th place underscored the resilience of established titles. Meanwhile, EA Sports FC 24 continued its strong showing on Europe’s top downloads, claiming the second spot on the PS5 chart and securing the top position on PS4. With the arrival of February, anticipation mounts for Square Enix’s Foamstars, a team-based bubble-shooter, poised to make waves following its inclusion in February’s PS Plus lineup alongside Steelrising and Rollerdrome.
