The upcoming Summer Of Pride sale on Steam will not only feature many Queer-friendly titles at lower prices, but there will also be daily Livestreams to raise funds for charity.
Most of these games are unsurprisingly Indie titles but there are some really terrific games thrown in the mix too.
Cade Peterson the CEO of Read Only Memories: Neurodiver developer MidBoss, which has organized the Summer of Pride event had this to say regarding the event
“We want everyone to experience the range of diversity bubbling just below the surface of gaming, whether that’s by getting hands-on with the games or watching a beautiful array of diverse streamers find pieces of themselves in the works of queer developers. Spotlighting creators and media with positive LGBTQ+ representation in characters and storylines saves lives by showing queer youths they are not alone.”
The Summer Of Pride 2020 Steam sale will run up until the 25th of June.
Some of the games included will be:

- Gone Home
- Tacoma
- Monster Prom 2: Monster Camp
- Sayonara Wild Hearts
- A mortician’s Tale
- The Red String’s Club
- VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
- All Walls Must Fall
- Ladykiller in a Bind
Among many other titles.
As mentioned above, MidBoss will also be hosting a streaming event. This will be a wider Summer Of Pride event and will feature daily streamers to raise funds for the Trans Lifeline, The Trevor Project, and GaymerX.
This is not all though as there will be another sale that is scheduled from the 20th-30th of June exclusively on the Nintendo Switch eshop.
