This new turn-based horror RPG developed by Lightbulb Crew is set to be released on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on the 28th of July and will also be released to Switch “soon”, although a fixed date hasn’t been set as yet.

The game had immediately gained attention after it was announced earlier this year, due to its striking aesthetics.

The art in this game can be compared to a Sin City style nuanced effect. The palette is very limited with muted tones, which makes it quite pleasant to behold and not too bold, brash, and in your face.

On the game’s official website, the developers have this to say about the storyline surrounding the game:

“Descend into Humanity’s last hope. The Daughters, echoes of the greatest warrior to ever live, are all who stand before Suffering and death.

Lead your army of Daughters to battle. Your prowess in combat will shape their abilities and personality. Make the toughest decision and sacrifice one to heal another – survivors will get stronger, ready to fight the next battle.

Combat is an intricate dance of spectacular actions and counters: plan ahead of time and set up impressive chains of abilities to outsmart the enemy. Fight in epic boss battles against the sources of Suffering – dread creatures pulled from the worst of Humanity’s crimes against itself.”

With such an eloquent description we can surely expect great things from this title.

The warriors that players control called the Daughters can be played in the form of either Blademasters, Soulslingers, or Shieldbearers. Each of these titles brings with it a unique skill and each must race across a dying timeline to save humanity from enemies originating outside reality.
