“Proud of the work delivered by our teams this year”
The Game Awards nominations have now been revealed, and unfortunately, Xbox and Bethesda’s space RPG Starfield hasn’t made the shortlist for ‘Game of the Year’. Despite this, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has publicly congratulated the Xbox teams as well as other nominees.
Spencer says in this brief message that he’s incredibly proud of the work done by Xbox teams this year and that it’s “an honor to be in such great company” at the annual video game awards show hosted by Geoff Keighley.
Proud of the work delivered by our teams this year, and congratulations to all the nominees from across the industry. It's an honor to be in such great company at #TheGameAwards https://t.co/kYQ3skMx2Q

The winners of each category will be announced on the 7th of December. To participate, you must sign in and vote on The Game Awards website before this date.
