The CEO Of Microsoft Gaming Congratulates The Nominees For The Xbox Game Awards

“Proud of the work delivered by our teams this year”

The Game Awards nominations have now been revealed, and unfortunately, Xbox and Bethesda’s space RPG Starfield hasn’t made the shortlist for ‘Game of the Year’. Despite this, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has publicly congratulated the Xbox teams as well as other nominees.

Spencer says in this brief message that he’s incredibly proud of the work done by Xbox teams this year and that it’s “an honor to be in such great company” at the annual video game awards show hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Microsoft has received a total of ten nominations in eight categories (including Blizzard’s game Diablo 4). Aside from Starfield being nominated for best RPG, other Xbox titles on the shortlist include Forza Motorsport and Hi-Fi RUSH. Hi-Fi RUSH, in particular, has been nominated in five different categories!
