The first season of Chapter 5 of Fortnite will feature new trains, bosses, and other features

Thanks to the new Fortnite map, there’s an entirely new world to discover in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. You’ll discover a ton of new locations to explore, innovative ways to navigate the environment, and fresh enemy threats on the Fortnite battle royale island. Everything you require to know about the Fortnite Chapter 5 map is provided here.

Map changes for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1:

The new map maintains the practice of including a variety of biomes, such as grasslands, deserts, forests, and frozen tundras. Naturally, each of these has new named locations as well as numerous smaller landmarks that are just waiting to be found and aren’t marked on the map.

Ritzy Riviera, a marina in the west, Rebel’s Roost, a mansion in the northern forest, Hazy Hillside, atop an alpine village, and the Grand Glacier Hotel, which I will fondly imagine to be The Overlook from The Shining, are a few of the game’s places of interest (POIs).

The most noteworthy addition is Reckless Railways, which verifies a recent rumor that the game would feature a working train system with railroad tracks extending the entire island and offering new routes for you to take while navigating the dangerous environment. The new Trailsmasher SUV, which is a fantastic off-roading choice, is also visible in various locations throughout the map for more solitary exploration.

After a brief absence in Fortnite OG, NPCs have returned to the island. Five of them—Oscar, Nisha, Montague, Valeria, and Peter Griffin from Family Guy—act as bosses and drop Society Medallions, which grant wearers a regenerating shield buff at the risk of being marked for discovery by other players on the map.

FlowBerries, a new consumable fruit that restores shields for you and your nearby allies, are another addition to the island. Additionally, they offer a brief period of low-gravity jumping that, like a Hop Flopper fish, cancels out fall damage while it’s active.

Undoubtedly, there are still a tonne of secrets to discover, such as the locations of every vault this season that contains some of the greatest loot in the game.
