Fortnite Chapter 5: How To Get A Free Lego-Themed Skin

Fortnite’s collaboration with Lego begins with a fantastic freebie

Epic and Lego finally revealed the long-rumored Lego Fortnite, a free new open-world survival crafting game inside Fortnite, at Saturday’s The Big Bang event. Even if you don’t like Legos or don’t find that mode appealing, you can still benefit from it: Anyone who connects a free Lego Insider account (create one here ) to their Epic account will receive a free Lego-themed Battle Royale skin.

Explorer Emilie includes both a regular skin that can be used in battle royale or any of the other Creative modes that were previously available, as well as a Lego version for Lego Fortnite. As a result, even inexperienced players can quickly earn a skin without spending a dime. That means there are currently two free Fortnite skins available, in addition to the Runway Racer outfit, which can be obtained by gaining 50 account levels before the end of the year.

Explorer Emilie

The Explorer Emilie skin is not yet available, but it will be available when Lego Fortnite launches on December 7th. But you can go ahead and take the necessary steps to obtain her right now, and she’ll appear in your locker as soon as she becomes available. Explorer Emilie is one of many Fortnite skins that will have both a standard and a Lego version–over 1200 existing skins will be translated to Lego Fortnite in this manner.

In Chapter 5, Fortnite is rapidly expanding, and Lego Fortnite is just one component of that. In addition to the usual battle royale and user-created Creative modes, Chapter 5 introduces Rocket Racing, an arcade-style racing game from Psyonix, the creators of Rocket League, and Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game from Harmonix, the creators of Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

But for the time being, battle royale is the main attraction, and it’s leading the way into Chapter 5 with a brand-new island that includes a Fortnite first: a running train that you can ride around the map. The season 1 battle pass is also a doozy, with collaborations with Family Guy and Metal Gear Solid highlighting a pretty stacked lineup of skins.
